I have really enjoyed this class eventhough it has been very demanding, I have to say that I have a real life connection, and commitment to spreading the news. We need to be accountable for our actions.
Therefore, the key element would have to be education, spreading the news, and earlier learning in the school system.
Over 200,000 more infected since we first started this course which was three months so if we do the math it would be over 600,000 in a year. That is not cool. The only way to get things done is that everyone does their part to spread the word.
We can't afford to be quiet anymore.

That is a lot of new infections in such a short time. I agree, it is very important to spread the word. All of us, now that we have this knowledge, should work hard to inform others.
ReplyDeleteI also feel a moral oblibation to help spread the word of HIV. I am not going to go as far as being a protester but I will share my knowledge about HIV anyone that is close to me, especially if they are sexually active. I do not trust anyone else to learn about the virus in school or in public. I will take it upon myself to educate my love ones. I think hearing it from me would also make a stronger impact.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that the number has grown by that much in only a short period of time. I really don't have a solution for this but I hope that in time, this number can finally begin to slow down.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly remarkable to see the number of AIDS cases grow that fast!! People always say, "something must be done" but it is so hard to actually find a solution to this huge problem. I think after taking this class it is our duty to go and share the knowledge we have.
