Thanks for the reply everyone. I am very sad also. What we have to do is be advocates with what we know and keep educating ourselves and as many people as we can so that we can keep passing the torch. This class has really opened my eyes and just hearing from you all it seems that we are all getting alot out of this course. I did my testing and I not feeling to afraid about it because I get tested every year with my physical.

Like I said in my assignment last week I think it should be something that is talked about in the churches. We need to talk about it more as a community. We need to have concerts and blood parties were we motivate the community to get tested and lear their status and stop the spread.
ReplyDeleteIt is good you continue to get tested each year. I am in the healthcare field therefore I also get tested every time someone offers it.
I am getting a lot out of this course too. I took my test for HIV and I was not scared but I was definitely anxious to find out the results.
